About this template
A chat effect overlay for Twitch and OBS
First Chatter Crown is a free Twitch overlay that rewards the first person to chat each stream. A golden crown drops onto their name and stays on screen all stream; whenever they chat again, the crown hops and their latest message shows underneath.
The winner is remembered for the day, so reloading the browser source or switching scenes keeps the crown in place. You and common bots like Nightbot and StreamElements are skipped, so a real viewer always wins it.
- Crown for the first chatter of the stream
- Crown hops and shows their message when they chat
- Remembered for the day across reloads
- Skips you and common chat bots
- Add your own bots to skip
