First Chatter Crown is a free Twitch overlay that rewards the first person to chat each stream. A golden crown drops onto their name and stays on screen all stream; whenever they chat again, the crown hops and their latest message shows underneath.
The winner is remembered for the day, so reloading the browser source or switching scenes keeps the crown in place. You and common bots like Nightbot and StreamElements are skipped, so a real viewer always wins it.

Add First Chatter Crown to OBS in under a minute
- Copy your overlay URL.
Replace YOUR_CHANNEL with your Twitch username:

In OBS Studio, click + under Sources, choose Browser and name it “First Chatter Crown”.
- Paste the URL and set the size.
Paste the URL, then set Width to
1920and Height to1080. Leave custom CSS empty — the background is already transparent. - Test it before you go live.
Add
&test=1to the URL to fire simulated events, then remove it once it looks right. Tick “Control audio via OBS” if you want the alert sounds on their own mixer track.
