A scene overlay for Twitch and OBS
Cozy BRB Screen is a free be right back scene for Twitch streams. Warm lamplight, floating dust and a steaming mug keep the screen moving while you step away, and a big serif headline makes it obvious you will be back soon.
By default the timer counts how long you have been away; add a number of minutes and it becomes a “back in” countdown instead. A chat ticker along the bottom keeps the latest messages, subs, cheers and raids on screen, so your community can keep chatting during the break.

Add Cozy BRB Screen to OBS in under a minute
- Copy your overlay URL.
Replace YOUR_CHANNEL with your Twitch username:

In OBS Studio, click + under Sources, choose Browser and name it “Cozy BRB Screen”.
- Paste the URL and set the size.

1920and Height to1080. Leave custom CSS empty — the background is already transparent. - Test it before you go live.
Add
&test=1to the URL to fire simulated events, then remove it once it looks right. Tick “Control audio via OBS” if you want the alert sounds on their own mixer track.
Chat, subs, gifted subs, bits and raids come from your public Twitch chat with no login. Tick “Refresh browser when scene becomes active” in OBS so the timer restarts each break. Streamlabs Desktop, Meld and Twitch Studio work too — add it wherever they accept a browser source or URL.
