!hug Blob Hugs is a free Twitch hug command overlay. When a viewer types !hug @name in chat, two round blobs in each person's Twitch name color slide in, squeeze each other and float hearts up, with both names shown above them.

A bare !hug hugs the whole chat. Add a per-chatter cooldown if your community gets too affectionate, or rename the command — !pat, !boop, !highfive — to make it your own.

OBS setup

Add !hug Blob Hugs to OBS in under a minute

Copy your overlay URL.
Replace YOUR_CHANNEL with your Twitch username: https://www.overlaify.com/overlays/hug-command?channel=YOUR_CHANNEL
Add a Browser source.
In OBS Studio, click + under Sources, choose Browser and name it “!hug Blob Hugs”.
Paste the URL and set the size.
Paste the URL, then set Width to 1920 and Height to 1080. Leave custom CSS empty — the background is already transparent.
Test it before you go live.
Add &test=1 to the URL to fire simulated events, then remove it once it looks right. Tick “Control audio via OBS” if you want the alert sounds on their own mixer track.
